| Presto (aka Márcio Penha), was an student at Carlos de Campos school, starting point of many artists that became well know through São Paulo's graffiti, like Speto, Os Gêmeos and Onesto among many others. Started to paint at the streets in 1996 and since then has developed personal imaginary, formed by fantastic figures and an intricate almost abstract calligraphy. His drawings and paintings are extremely delicate and its Medias are chosen, destructed and reconstructed very carefully. Aged canvases, tarnished wood and rusted metal become the perfect background for the artist to draw his colorful cartoon characters. |
