Since 2003, Steel Dan has been painting the streets of Beijing with his stencils and spray paint to produce thought provoking and politically themed art. A known collaborator, Steel Dan has had the pleasure of working with a number of western graffiti artists over the years. Steel Dan is also multifaceted in his artistic talents. His sculpture "First Step" was enlisted as part of Beijing's famous Today Museum's permanent collection in 2006.
In 2007, Steel Dan was commissioned by Nike to produce a number of murals for a project appropriately called "Nike 360 Steel Dan". The same year, he formed and lead the graffiti crew "Fungus". Their creative motto: "To love natural. To bump passion." Sweet.
