BIO:
Zhang Qitian, is known for painting iconic Chinese propaganda images and portraits from the Cultural Revolution. Zhang gets his inspiration from his personal experiences during the Cultural Revolution. Zhang also served as a professor at an art college for years before deciding to become a full time artist. His artwork has been displayed in almost every major national museum in China. Red Star Press is very lucky to represent him.
